HOUSEKEEPER (FULL TIME)

Location: NLH-Maine Coast Hospital – 50 Union Street, Ellsworth, ME 04605 (online applications only).

• Schedule: Full‑time, Monday‑Friday (hours may vary). Must be available every other weekend.
• Experience: Healthcare cleaning experience preferred; willing to train.
• Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour.

Performs light cleaning duties in hospitals, maintaining cleanliness and organization. Duties include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

• Provides quality customer service with attention to detail.
• Sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors.
• Vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies.
• Shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fittings.
• Cleans metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empties and cleans trash containers; disposes of trash sanitary.
• Cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers; wipes glass surfaces.
• Makes up beds and changes linens as required.
• Resets furniture and amenities according to layout.
• Responds to guest queries and housekeeping problems.
• Exhibits professionalism with customers and teammates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
