Description:
An immediate start is needed. Manager interviews will be conducted. The candidate should be familiar with circulating but does not need to scrub in. The facility operates with 4 operating rooms. Supported by supervisors, CRNAs, and anesthesiologists. Anesthesia techs will assist in room turnover. Charge nurses and resource nurses are available for support. The average number of cases performed per day is around 25.
The experience with case types includes adults and pediatrics, with minimal pediatrics involved. General surgery procedures include open and laparoscopic techniques such as bowel resections, gallbladder removals, and hernia repairs. Urology cases include lithotripsy, nephroureteral stent procedures, and vasectomies. ENT surgeries encompass endoscopic sinus procedures and facial lesion removals. Client cases include C-sections, tubal ligations, and hysterectomies. Orthopedic procedures involve total joint replacements, fractures, and ACL repairs.
Endoscopic procedures include EGDs and colonoscopies, where experience is not mandatory. Robotics experience is not required. No conscious sedation cases will be performed. Staff is expected to assist with room turnover. On-call shifts are required, typically averaging 6-7 shifts per month. Weekday call shifts usually involve 1-2 calls. Weekend call shifts will occur approximately every 4th or 5th weekend. Response time for on-call duty is 20 minutes.
There is one sleep room available for staff use. RTO requests require manager approval.
