Service Technician / Radon Installer

We are seeking a dependable, motivated Service Technician / Radon Installer to install, service, and maintain radon mitigation systems and water treatment equipment in residential and light commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and delivering quality workmanship with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Install radon mitigation systems, including sub-slab depressurization, crawlspace mitigation systems, and crawlspace encapsulation
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshoot system performance issues
- Core drill, run PVC piping, install radon fans, and complete system commissioning
- Conduct service, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to existing mitigation systems
- Service water treatment equipment, including filters, softeners, aeration systems, and specialty treatment systems
- Collect water samples and assist with troubleshooting water quality concerns
- Complete job documentation, photos, and service reports
- Educate homeowners on system operation and maintenance
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and a clean worksite
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Basic plumbing, construction, or HVAC experience preferred
- Ability to learn technical installation and testing procedures
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in basements, crawlspaces, attics, and on ladders
- Radon certification or industry experience is a plus, but training may be provided for the right candidate
- Competitive pay based on experience ($23 to $25/hr - dep. on experience)
