Entry Level Staff Accountant

We are partnering with a growing and collaborative organization in the Elmhurst area that is seeking an Entry‑Level Staff Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a recent Accounting graduate or someone with 1–2 years of experience looking to build a strong foundation within a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment.

This position offers hands‑on exposure to month‑end close, reconciliations, billing, accounts payable, and financial reporting while working closely with experienced accounting leadership.

• Assist with monthly close activities including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support customer billing and invoicing processes
• Complete bank reconciliations and prepare related journal entries
• Assist with accounts payable processing and expense reconciliations
• Post cash receipts and apply payments to accounts receivable
• Run monthly AP and AR aging reports
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules and monitor renewals
• Assist with sales and use tax reporting
• Support accounting process improvements and reporting initiatives
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance and operational teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Similar required

• Candidates with 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Internship or audit experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• SUMIFs
• ERP or accounting system exposure preferred

• Base salary targeting $60,000–$65,000
