Job Details
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Manager for our Light Industrial division in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of light industrial construction projects, including subcontractor coordination, labor and material cost management, and RFPs. A high level of expertise in project management with a specific focus on construction is required.
Responsibilities
Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, managing development from initiation to closure.Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met.Manage labor and material costs to keep the project within budget.Prepare and submit project estimates and RFPs with detailed cost projections.Establish and execute effective project communication plans.Monitor progress continuously and produce scheduled reports on milestones and deliverables.Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies.Implement and manage changes to meet project outputs when necessary.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry.At least 3 years of experience in light industrial construction.Proven experience in subcontractor coordination, labor cost, material cost, and RFP management.Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time‑management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without compromising quality.Proficiency in project management software tools.PMP or equivalent certification considered an asset.Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.Capacity to foster positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.A Bit About Us
