Project Manager – Justice Architect

Dewberry seeks a Project Manager – Justice Architect to lead high‑profile justice clients. This role combines business development, client and project management, and design expertise to support the growth of our Architecture Practice.
Responsibilities- 10+ years of experience with a diverse portfolio of public and private sector work.
- Licensed Architect required.
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Google Sketch Up.
- Ability to lead project teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Collaborative approach to all aspects of the practice.
- Expert knowledge of local code requirements and efficient interface with jurisdictional agencies.
- Confident and effective interpersonal and time‑management skills.
- Comfortable participating in business development and marketing activities.
- Develop scope, fees, and manage project budgets, client/consultant invoices, agreements, and contracts.
- Manage project teams; advise the Architect in Responsible Charge/Office Director on resources and scheduling.
- Develop proposals with assistance of PIC(s) and/or the Architect in Responsible Charge/Office Director; participate in client interviews and marketing collateral development.
- Review and assure document accuracy for clients, consultants, and project teams.
- Coordinate QA/QC processes and compliance with the office’s Quality Advocate and Architect of Record; evaluate and ensure implementation of recommendations; communicate lessons learned to all staff.
- Work closely with Office Leadership to diversify and expand the company and office portfolio.
- Manage client relationships and day‑to‑day project needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize, design, and produce project documentation.
- Participate in business development and marketing activities, including RFPs and interviews.
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with new and existing clients, overseeing day‑to‑day project management for key projects.
- Supervise internal teams in the preparation of design deliverables for all design phases.
- Set, monitor, and maintain project budgets, work plans, and schedules throughout all design phases.

CompensationProjected salary range: $111,000–$150,000 annually, depending on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
RequirementsMust have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass a driving record background check.
