Elmhurst CUSD 205 anticipates an opening for a full-time elementary instrumental music teacher (orchestra and band) with an anticipated start date in August, 2026.

- Orchestra small group lessons for 5th grade students at multiple elementary schools
- Before‑school ensemble rehearsals at one or more elementary schools two times per week (extra‑duty stipend)
- Band small group lessons for 5th grade students at multiple elementary schools
- Co‑teach middle school band ensemble rehearsals and/or technique classes
- PEL with current certification in the content area
- Proficiency on one or more orchestra instrument (required)
- Proficiency on one or more band instrument (preferred)
- Experience teaching orchestra and/or band is desired
- IL Professional Educator License (PEL) with proper endorsement required and registered in DuPage County
School Year:
Minimum Starting Salary: $59,829.00
