Pro Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Spanish-English Bilingual School Counselor to provide maternity leave coverage for a supportive school district in Churchville, Illinois
. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity serving students in grades 6-8 beginning August 11, 2026, through November 16, 2026
.

• Assignment Dates: August 11, 2026 November 16, 2026
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Setting: Onsite
• Assignment Type: Maternity Leave Coverage
• Caseload: Approximately 190 students
• Grade Levels: 6th-8th Grade

• Provide individual and group counseling services to middle school students.
• Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Participate in student support meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and student wellness initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and district requirements.
• Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment while effectively communicating with both English- and Spanish-speaking students and families.

• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor endorsement is required.
• Spanish-English bilingual proficiency is required.
• Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field.
• Previous school-based counseling experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience (typically $40-$63 per hour)
