Are you an experienced Special Education Teacher looking for a short-term opportunity in an elementary school setting? Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district seeking a dedicated SPED Teacher to provide leave coverage for a K–2 multi-needs classroom.
This assignment begins August 11 and is scheduled through September 23, with the possibility of an extension based on the district's needs. The position is full-time at 35 hours per week and offers the support of a paraprofessional in the classroom.
The selected teacher will oversee a small caseload of approximately four students with varying support needs. The classroom is primarily self-contained, while some students will participate in general education classes for portions of the school day.
Responsibilities include providing individualized instruction, implementing IEP goals, monitoring student progress, and adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs. The teacher will also collaborate with general education staff, support personnel, and families to promote consistency across learning environments.

Requirements
- Ability to adapt lessons to accommodate diverse learning abilities.
- Previous experience supporting K–2 students with multiple needs preferred.
- Special Education teaching certification appropriate for the assigned grade levels.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) endorsement.
- Ability to work closely with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
