Join a growing, engineer-to-order manufacturer as a Manufacturing Engineer
, where you’ll play a key role in bridging design and production in a highly customized environment.
This isn’t a role where engineering sits in a silo—you’ll be on the floor, working side-by-side with production, troubleshooting in real time, and driving improvements that directly impact the final product. If you enjoy owning projects, seeing your designs come to life, and continuously making things better, this is the kind of environment where you’ll thrive.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out- Family-owned, low-ego environment – approachable leadership, open communication, and minimal red tape
- Hands-on engineering culture – engineers are embedded in production, not removed from it
- Growth through exposure – rotate across product lines and assembly cells to broaden your experience
- Long-term mindset – strong focus on developing and promoting from within
- Team-first mentality – collaborative, supportive, and highly communicative environment
This is a place where engineers take ownership, build real-world solutions, and grow into larger roles over time.
Following a recent reorganization, the engineering team is divided into three core groups:
- Legacy / Continuous Improvement – enhancing existing products and long-term accounts
- New Customer Development – supporting new business and product lines
With 8–10 engineers across these groups
, you’ll have the opportunity to rotate between teams and product lines, gaining exposure to different technologies and challenges.
This role blends manufacturing engineering, design support, and project ownership
:
- Manage design-driven improvement projects from concept through implementation
- Partner with suppliers on fabricated components (sheet metal, copper tubing, etc.)
- Lead Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and update drawings in Solid Works
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities (cost, manufacturability, performance)
- Validate design changes through testing and data collection
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- ~5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering environment
- Experience with Solid Works (modeling and drawing updates)
- Strong problem-solving and project ownership mindset
- Ability to work cross-functionally with both engineering and production teams
