Finance Intern
Date range:
June 4 - August 6 (9-week program)
Pay rate: $15/hour

The Finance Projects Intern will support cross-functional initiatives across PMO, Finance, Accounting, and Analytics. This role is designed for a highly analytical rising senior interested in operational efficiency, financial analysis, and enterprise-wide standardization efforts. The intern will gain practical experience working cross-functionally while developing foundational financial and analytical skills.
How You Will Contribute:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify process improvement and standardization opportunities
- Assist in documenting current-state processes and identifying gaps or inefficiencies
- Coordinate stakeholder interviews and summarize key findings
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide structured notes and follow-ups
- Compile and analyze financial data to support business decision-making.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and research projects.
- Collaborate on finance-focused, cross-functional projects spanning PMO, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, and other departments
- Develop executive-ready summaries and presentations outlining insights and recommendations
- Present final project findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the internship
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Business, or a related field (rising senior)
- Prior internship or campus leadership experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, basic financial modeling preferred).
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in financial operations and business strategy.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
