Financial Solutions Advisor - Consumer Investments - Elmhurst South, IL

Job Description

Provide comprehensive, customized financial advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial goals. This includes identifying client needs, building financial plans, recommending investment products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Triage client leads and make referrals to appropriate internal partners based on client needs and asset thresholds.
• Consult with clients to review financial and investment goals, and construct financial plans incorporating brokerage products, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities, banking, and money-managed solutions.
• Recommend brokerage and investment strategies aligned with client goals and risk tolerance.
• Mitigate and control risk as part of daily activities.
• Identify and engage potential new clients through referrals or client-center clientele.
• Provide coaching and feedback to referral partners based on client needs and potential product services.
• Maintain SAFE Act registration and comply with all background-check and regulatory requirements.

• Current Series 7 and Series 66 license (or Series 63/65 in lieu of 66 within 60 days).
• At least one year of experience in the investment industry, with in-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
• At least one year of experience in the financial-services or sales industry where performance targets were met or exceeded.
• Strong goal-setting, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Ability to navigate complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough and thoughtful incorporation of regulatory due diligence into client strategies.

• Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
• At least three years of experience in the financial-service or sales industry with a track record of exceeding goals.
• Additional professional designations such as CFP or CRPC.
• All relevant insurance licenses.

• Pay range: $70,000 – $80,000 (annualized), plus incentive opportunities.
