Hourly Pay Range
$31.46 - $48.76 (rate determined by expertise and years of experience, among other factors).

- Position:
Radiologic Technologist III - Location:
Elmhurst Memorial Hospital - Full Time, 40 hours
- Hours:
3pm - 11:30pm, on‑call schedule, rotating weekends & holidays
- Operate a variety of radiology equipment to produce radiographs of the body for diagnostic purposes as directed by Radiologists, in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist physicians and other clinical staff with obtaining films, images, and other records using the Radiology PACS or hospital information systems.
- Explain procedure to patients, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.
- Deliver and ensure customer service in all aspects of the job.
- Education:
High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred. - License: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure.
- Certifications:
Certificate of Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director from the Radiology School attended;
Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross;
Candidate for ARRT(R) certification (i.e., Certificate of Program Completion or a letter from the Radiology Program Director of the accredited school). - Experience:
Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance;
Prior x‑ray experience in a surgical environment, required.
