Phlebotomist - Outpatient

Hourly Pay Range

$19.31 - $28.00 — The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Location:
  
  Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, Elmhurst, Illinois
• Full‑time: 0.75 FTE (about 30 hours/week)
• Hours:
  
  7 am–1 pm Monday‑Friday; includes every other weekend and holiday rotations

• Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, prepares, collects, logs and labels specimens for testing.
• Performs pre‑analytical processing/ordering of specimens arriving in the lab.
• Registers patient information and orders laboratory tests in the computer system.
• Arranges specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program including a minimum of 100 clinical training hours
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid Illinois Driver's License and auto insurance
• Starting rate: $19.25/hr.
