Platinum Care Group is hiring a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a 36-year-old client in a residential facility setting. The schedule for this role is 3 days per week, 4 hours per day
. This position focuses on supervision, companionship, structure, and safety support. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and experienced working with individuals who benefit from consistent routines, structured environments, and support related to cognitive or neurological challenges.

• Provide consistent supervision to ensure safety and well‑being throughout the shift
• Assist with feeding and meal support, including preparing and cutting food into small pieces and closely supervising during meals due to choking risk
• Support and maintain structured daily routines to promote comfort and predictability
• Provide companionship through music, movies, and engaging activities tailored to the client’s preferences
• Assist with oral care, skin care, hair care, and nail care routines
• Ensure proper wheelchair use and safe positioning during all activities
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including the client’s immediate space and equipment
• Encourage safe movement and participation in activities as tolerated
• Monitor and report any changes in behavior, condition, or safety concerns to the care team

• Caregiving experience preferred (training available)
• CNA or HHA certification a plus
• Reliable transportation for travel within the Chicagoland area
• Ability to pass a background check

• Client needs, schedules, and care tasks vary based on individual care plans
• Some clients may require hands on personal care, while others need companionship and light support only
• Care may be provided in private homes or care facilities, depending on assignment
• Shifts may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, or short notice coverage
• Clear communication and accurate documentation are essential to supporting client safety and continuity of care
