Summary
The Product Manager is a key member of the Sales and Customer Service Team and is responsible for management of all aspects of their product lines to include product development, new product requests, pricing, literature, marketing videos and competitive analysis. Additionally, this position will be responsible for lowering overall cost by minimizing SKU's, reducing MOH and working with purchasing on cost price points and setting the correct forecast for product lines.
Responsibilities- Act as liaison between all departments on all issues pertaining to our product line such as develop programs to maintain overall profitability and sales growth of product line.
- Become SME and determine best new product introduction opportunities and provide needed information and justification of these introductions.
- Constantly evaluate competitive products in all markets and recommend product line changes, improvements, and introductions as necessary.
- Support new product roadmap with support of Manufacturing Engineers.
- Develop, evaluate, and improve use cases and develop supporting case studies.
- Work with other managers and supervisors to develop product training and position new product offerings to fit into Val-Matic’s product portfolio.
- Ensure product issues are addressed, and process improvements are implemented and documented.
- Recommend product design changes to improve manufacturability and improve quality while reducing cost.
- Provides technical support to Sales and Customer Service Teams.
- Advises management of needs in areas of control.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics or Marketing Analytics from a four-year College or University or
- 5-10 years related experience and/or training
- Experience in product design, analysis, development and technical management
- Strong career prospects in automation or advanced manufacturing

Wages$90,000 - $105,000
