Join Our Team as an Advanced CNC Programmer!

Are you ready to take on challenging projects that stimulate your creativity and technical skills? If you are passionate about working with complex parts and advanced CNC machinery, this is the opportunity for you!

Your Role in Brief:

Become the expert who transforms designs into precision-engineered components, developing strategies for intricate, tight-tolerance parts.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Program advanced components using Top Solid for 3-, 4-, and entry-level simultaneous 5-axis operations.
  • Support mill-turn and turn-mill platforms, including live tooling and secondary spindle functions.
  • Select appropriate tooling, speeds, feeds, and strategies, advancing your independence as you gain experience.
  • Verify and validate programs through simulation and assist during machine prove-outs.
  • Guide parts from initial print review to first article, collaborating closely with machinists.
  • Troubleshoot issues such as chatter, tool wear, and dimensional discrepancies, integrating solutions into your programming.
  • Transform traditional methods into clean setup sheets, organized tool lists, and repeatable processes.
  • Develop reusable programming templates to streamline future projects.
  • Progress from a reliable contributor to the go-to expert for complex machining challenges.
This Position is for You If:
  • You possess 3-6 years of experience in CNC programming or advanced setups involving precision machining.
  • You are familiar with advanced CAM systems (Top Solid experience is a plus, but cross-training is available).
  • You have basic experience with 4-axis or 5-axis machining and proving out processes.
  • You can interpret engineering drawings and apply GD&T principles in practical applications.
  • You have a keen desire to delve into 5-axis, mill-turn, and complex projects rather than handling repetitive tasks.
  • You thrive in a workshop environment and prefer hands-on work over desk-based tasks.

Bonus qualifications include experience with mill-turn or live-tool lathes, aerospace or tight-tolerance work, and a curiosity for smarter cutting techniques.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000
    , based on your expertise.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Company-sponsored short- and long-term disability and life insurance.
  • Attractive hire‑on bonus, along with a 401(k) plan featuring company matching.
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, and holiday time.
  • Tuition assistance, an employee support program, and gain‑sharing bonuses.
  • Regular paychecks, a 10% premium for second shift work if applicable, and special perks like quarterly treats.

This is a structured development role designed not to pigeonhole you but to equip you for growth into a technical authority in the world of complex machining.
