Description
The Packer builds SCV and prepares packages for shipment.
Responsibilities
* Reads job information and locates correct tools and materials.
* Assemble SCV per work instructions.
* Attach metal tags, labels, and any special tagging or labeling that may be
required per the special-order sheet.
* Make boxes or packs as required.
* Clean valves and add rust preventative to unpainted surfaces.
* Place valves into specified containers, label, and seal as required.
* Cleans work area daily.
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training.
* Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions.
* Troubleshoot problems and report issues.
* Must work well in a team environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to be on feet for up to 8-12 hours per shift.
* Use of hands and fingers to perform job function.
* Ability to stoop, kneel, bend and climb.
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Wages:
$21/hr + shift premium
