AJ Manufacturing Co., Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator to support production of high-tech components for our cloud, AI, and cybersecurity solutions. You will set up, operate, and monitor automated CNC and related machinery, perform in-process quality checks, and maintain accurate production and materials data in our digital systems. Responsibilities include reading technical drawings, following safety and ISO procedures, performing basic equipment maintenance, and collaborating with engineers and technicians to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC and related production machinery on 2nd shift
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and digital job tickets
- Perform in-process quality inspections using basic measurement tools
- Record production data and materials usage in digital tracking systems
- Follow all safety, PPE, and ISO/quality procedures and guidelines
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot common machine issues and escalate complex problems
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and team members to improve processes
- Support continuous improvement, 5
- S, and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Train and assist new operators on standard operating procedures
Required Skills
- CNC machine operation
- Machine setup and changeover
- Mechanical aptitude
- Reading technical drawings/blueprints
- Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Basic computer/data entry skills
