$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights- Position:
Registered Nurse – Mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice - Location:
Elmhurst Main Hospital - Full-Time: 36 hrs a week
- Hours:
7:00 pm–7:30 am with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays
The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Required Education, Licenses/Certifications, Skills and/or Experience- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
- If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
- Current incumbents with an RN Diploma are grandfathered OR
- RN Diploma Nurse if position start date is prior to September 1, 2021
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification within four years of start date into position
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing
- 1 year of inpatient nursing experience is highly preferred
