Registered Nurse - Infusion
ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, individualized nursing care for infusion therapy patients, including administering injectable and infusion medications, managing vascular access, and ensuring safety protocols. Collaborate with team members, document thoroughly, and contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives. Supervise and guide staff, promote a safe environment, and support patient flow and care continuity.
Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 1 year of staff nurse experience, with strong preference for infusion or hematology/oncology background. Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification are required;
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification is preferred. Proficiency in vascular access, medication preparation, and safety procedures. Strong communication, teamwork, and professional development orientation.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; maintain safety standards; collaborate with staff; ensure accurate documentation; and perform related duties to enhance patient outcomes and practice standards.
