Join RGC’s second shift and be the quality backbone of a precision manufacturing operation. Your work ensures every component meets exacting customer, company (RGC), and industry requirements—every time.
Shift Second Shift Core Responsibilities Execute first piece, in-process, and final inspections
Inspect incoming vendor materials and verify outgoing customer shipments
Interpret blueprints, customer specifications, and control plans
Operate precision metrology: /OD micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMMs, Hofler gear inspection machine, tooth verniers
Program and run manual and CNC CMMs (PC-DMIS / Modus preferred)
Own calibration activities and records
Identify/reject nonconformances and collaborate on corrective actions
Guide production personnel on proper measurement techniques
Support PPAP/ISIR, capability studies, and first article processes
Maintain organized quality documentation and customer files
Contribute to internal audits and supplier quality initiatives
Qualifications2–4 years in manufacturing and/or quality assurance
Skilled in blueprint reading and precision measuring equipment
Foundational math and geometry
Calibration experience is required
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency
Bevel gear manufacturing experience preferred
Work Environment Production floor and CNC machining environment
