Precision Quality Inspector — CMM​/PC‑DMIS Programmer

• Own dimensional verification: first piece, in‑process, and final inspections
• Safeguard the supply chain by inspecting incoming materials and approving outgoing orders
• Turn requirements into reality by reading blueprints, specs, and control plans
• Program and execute CMM routines on manual and CNC systems (PC‑DMIS / Modus preferred)
• Operate a full suite of instruments: micrometers (/OD), calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMMs, Hofler gear inspection machine, tooth verniers
• Maintain a compliant system through scheduled calibration and accurate records
• Contain nonconformances, assist with corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
• Coach operators on correct measurement techniques
• Support PPAP / ISIR packages, capability studies, and first article documentation
• Keep quality files, reports, and customer documentation organized and audit‑ready
• Contribute to internal audits and supplier quality activities

• 2–4 years of manufacturing and/or quality assurance experience
• Skilled at blueprint reading and applying precision measurement tools
• Competence in basic math and geometry
• Proven calibration experience (required)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with bevel gear manufacturing (preferred)
• Comfort working on a fast‑paced production floor in a precision environment
