Your missionProtect customers, RGC, and industry standards by ensuring every component we ship meets specification. You’ll collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to continuously elevate product quality in a precision manufacturing setting.
How you’ll do it- Perform first article, in‑process, and final inspections to release high‑confidence product
- Inspect supplier receipts and verify outbound shipments to customer requirements
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, customer specifications, and control plans
- Program/operate manual and CNC CMMs (PC‑DMIS / Modus preferred)
- Use precision instruments daily: /OD micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMMs, Hofler gear inspection machine, tooth verniers
- Execute and maintain calibration activities across measurement assets
- Identify nonconforming material, assist corrective actions, and prevent recurrence
- Guide production staff on accurate, repeatable measurement techniques
- Support PPAP / ISIR deliverables, process capability studies, and first article work
- Keep quality documentation and customer files organized and accessible
- Participate in internal audits and supplier quality engagements
- 2–4 years in a manufacturing and/or quality assurance capacity
- Blueprint literacy paired with skilled use of precision measuring tools
- Comfortable with basic math and geometry
- Calibration experience is required
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiency
- Bevel gear manufacturing experience is a plus
- Confident working within a production‑floor CNC machining environment
