• Sales Appointments are scheduled Monday Thru Saturday (6-days)
• Sales Representatives will be assigned up to 3 leads per day:
• Appointment times: 12:30pm, 3:30pm or 6:30pm
• Estimated Annual Earnings of $40,000 to $80,000 per season

The Awning Sales Professional is a consultative, commission-based sales role working directly for Vertical Chimney and Awning. This position is ideal for a motivated, customer-focused professional who enjoys working independently while representing a premium brand. Awning sales professionals act as brand ambassadors and technical consultants, meeting directly with homeowners and business owners to measure, design, quote, and sell custom awning solutions.

Free, no-pressure estimates are provided to match the right product to each customer’s needs.

• Meet with customers on-site to assess shade needs, aesthetics, and functional goals
• Recommend awning styles (retractable, fixed), fabrics, colors, and sizes
• Help customers visualize how awnings enhance outdoor living and building appearance

• Take precise measurements to ensure accurate, custom-fit installations
• Evaluate mounting surfaces and installation considerations

• Educate customers on Sun Setter awning features and benefits
• Advise on shade vs. rain protection, wind considerations, and durability
• Explain motorization options, remote controls, and accessories

• Prepare accurate estimates based on materials, labor, and job complexity
• Present pricing clearly and professionally
• Close sales and complete required documentation
• Market Focus: Residential and light commercial awning solutions, including modern retractable systems
• Industry Trends:Strong demand for retractable awnings as homeowners invest in backyard upgrades, outdoor entertaining, and comfort-focused home improvements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
• Detail-oriented with the ability to take accurate measurements
• Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn product specifications
