Fireplace & Chimney Authority, the Midwest's largest fireplace and chimney company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Chimney Brick Mason to join our growing team. As a Chimney Brick Mason, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction, repair, tuck pointing, and rebuilding of chimney structures.

Measure and mark surfaces to be covered with brick or stone. Mix mortar and apply it to surfaces using hand or power tools. Cut bricks or stones to size using a variety of tools. Lay bricks or stones in patterns or designs according to plans or specifications. Align structures using plumb lines, levels, and other tools. Tuckpoint and rebuild chimney structures.

Clean and polish surfaces using a variety of techniques and tools. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the Chimney Brick Mason may also be responsible for:
Keeping accurate records of work performed, Communicating with customers in a professional and courteous manner, Providing estimates for repair and maintenance work, Assisting with the marketing and promotion of our services, Maintaining inventory of tools and equipment.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Chimney Brick Mason. Strong knowledge of brick and stone laying techniques and tools. Experience with tuck pointing and rebuilding chimney structures. Good communication and customer service skills. The ability to work at heights and lift heavy objects. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
