The Opportunity

You will serve as a lead technical expert for premier Chicagoland facilities, managing complex HVAC/R service and maintenance for high-end commercial clients. This role offers you the autonomy to troubleshoot sophisticated systems while receiving direct mentorship from ownership in a culture that rewards long-term accountability. You will make a tangible impact by ensuring the operational efficiency of mission‑critical systems for country clubs, fitness centers, and managed properties.

You Will Make An Impact
  • Troubleshoot complex commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to provide effective, long‑term technical solutions.
  • Execute precision maintenance and repairs on specialized equipment including chillers and commercial refrigeration units.
  • Coordinate daily service calls and maintain professional communication with facility managers to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Document detailed service reports, invoices, and work orders with high accuracy to maintain project transparency.
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and company standards to prevent on‑site hazards and system downtime.
  • Represent the company as a primary field contact, delivering high‑quality service without the pressure of sales or commissions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on service experience specifically within the commercial HVAC field.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems independently with minimal oversight.
  • Absolute willingness to travel 100% of the time to various project assignments within the service region.
  • Strong organizational skills necessary for managing field documentation, scheduling, and inventory.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Completion of a formal trade program or equivalent technical certification in HVAC/R.
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, chillers, and specialized industrial installations.
  • Demonstrated experience in professional client communication and managing high‑end facility expectations.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
