Irrigation Technician; Long Grove, IL

Rate of pay depends on previous work experience and any certifications/licenses you hold. Starting range: $24 – $30 per hour.

• Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshooting and repairing problems, observing pipe and valve placements, and evaluating start‑ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections and planning and executing upgrades of client systems.

• Minimum 1 year of productive experience in the installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
• Resume must include landscape irrigation technician or landscaping crew leader experience; resumes lacking this will be rejected.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong knowledge of trenchers, multimeters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing.

• Fluency in Spanish.
• Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends.
