Cool Sys is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Tech to service, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC-R systems for retail, commercial, and mission-critical clients. In this field-based role, you'll troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support energy-efficient solutions. You'll work in a safety-first, team-oriented culture with access to advanced tools, ongoing technical training, and clear paths for career growth while helping customers maintain reliable, efficient HVAC-R operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial HVAC systems and controls
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and system tune-ups
- Troubleshoot refrigeration and energy optimization equipment issues
- Install and commission HVAC components and related mechanical systems
- Document work performed, parts used, and service recommendations
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures
- Coordinate with dispatch, project managers, and customers on service needs
- Provide on-site technical guidance and mentor junior technicians
