Highlights

Duties
  • Assist individuals receiving Social Security Benefits (SSI & SSDI) to return to work through the Social Security “Ticket to Work” program.
  • Educate clients how the “Ticket to Work” program functions and how to maximize their SSI & SSDI benefits.
  • Manage case load of clients from low and high complexity on a monthly or quarterly basis via telephone, email, and/or in person at our office.
  • Comply with company Best Practice Standards to ensure quality and consistency of work product.
  • Ensure quality and completion of work product by performing intakes, completing work plans, reviewing client files, documenting case notes, drafting and finalizing resumes and following up with clients timely.
  • Diplomatically resolve any customer service issues with assigned clients.
  • Communicate benefits of services offered by company to potential clients.
  • Interview prospective clients to obtain important information and document data into company database for review.
  • Transfer data from client intake into resume, cover letter, and job search documents.
  • Research services in community including Short-Term Training programs, Transportation Services, Public Health Services, and WOIA Training Programs to assist clients achieve short-term and long-term goals.
Requirements
  • Master’s Degree preferred, Bachelor’s Required plus at least one (1) to two (2) years’ work experience.
  • Must pass US Federal Government Suitability within 30 days of employment.
  • Past work experience as a Case Manager or Social Worker or similar field required.
  • Past work experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor or Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) or similar field is preferred but not required.
  • Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or (LCPC) preferred.
  • Past work with individuals with disabilities;
    Workforce Development or Job Placement preferred.
  • Past work handling a high degree of responsibility, leadership, and multi-tasking is preferred.
