Substitute Registered Nurse: 10-Month School Calendar Position
GST BOCES is looking for an RN substitute to care for the medical needs of students placed in a BOCES classroom located across our region. There are substituting opportunities in the Elmira, Horseheads, Bath, and Hornell areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Some students may require daily tube feeding
- Assessment of students' vital signs.
- The employee must possess a valid NYS Nurse license.
- Dispensing medications.
- Helping students with daily living skills/hygiene
- Following medical protocol
- Students may need assistance with areas of daily living skills which may include, but are not limited to; toileting, personal care, feeding.
- Other duties as assigned.
