Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care Unit
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a long-term care unit. The LPN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the health and safety of our residents in a 40-bed facility. This role demands effective communication and coordination with healthcare teams to deliver medication administration and treatment while documenting all relevant patient information.
Schedule:
3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Shift
Responsibilities:
- Medication administration and treatment delivery
- Coordinating the shift and ensuring smooth operations
- Documenting patient care and interactions accurately
- Monitoring vital signs and performing assessments
- Administering tube feeding and assisting with personal care as needed
- Facilitating communication with physicians
- Repositioning residents to promote comfort and prevent complications
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Valid LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in long-term care or related settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to handle various nursing tasks effectively
