The New York Islanders Hockey Club is one of the most iconic franchises in professional sports, with a deeply passionate and loyal fan base that is second to none. Built on a Dynasty in the 1980’s with four straight Stanley Cup Championships and 19 consecutive playoff series wins, our history has defined a legacy that remains untouched in professional sports. That legacy inspires us to leave our mark in the sports, entertainment, and cultural landscape.

In 2021, the New York Islanders moved to our new permanent home, UBS Arena. This state-of-the-art venue, which was built for hockey and made for music, is nestled within the historic Belmont Park – a storied landmark of New York. UBS Arena features best in class facilities and amenities, including premium suites, clubs, and lounges that offer boutique hospitality to elevate the guest experience.

UBS Arena is part of a larger redevelopment project at Belmont Park, which aims to transform the area into a vibrant entertainment destination with the opening of Belmont Park Village in 2024 and Belmont Park Racetrack reopening this fall.

We’re hiring part-time Activation Crew Members for The Park at UBS Arena, our outdoor pregame fan zone. The Park is where Islanders fans come together before puck drop — with food, music, games, and interactive activations that bring the energy of Belmont Park to life.

As a member of The Park Activation Crew, you’ll help bring that experience to life by assisting with setup, operation, and breakdown of all activations and event equipment. This is a physically active, outdoor role that requires manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy equipment and assembling activation materials, as well as assisting with general operations duties before, during, and after each event.

• Perform hands‑on event setup and breakdown, including tables, signage, décor, and activation elements
• Operate and monitor interactive fan experiences during event hours
• Assist with general operations and logistics, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized environment
• Greet and engage guests with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming fan experience
• Report any technical, safety, or guest‑related issues promptly to your supervisor
• Support arena operations and marketing teams with additional tasks as assigned

• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule
• Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and carrying activation equipment up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, bending, and other manual tasks
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Prior experience in guest services, live events, sports venues, hospitality, or event setup/breakdown
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for engaging with guests
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment

• Event‑based position – primarily evenings, weekends, and holidays during Islanders home games or special events.
