Bar Supervisor

The opportunity

Delaware North Sport service is hiring a seasonal Bar Supervisor to join our team at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. As a Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with bar operations, ensuring that our guests receive the best service possible, upholding a constant level of staff productivity, ensuring that the bar’s budget is not exceeded, and maintaining health and safety standards within the bar.

$24.00 – $24.00 / hour

• Oversee bar set-up and closing procedures on event days
• Ensure that team members follow all company policies
• Observe, evaluate, and document job performance of team members
• Order and maintain product inventory
• Complete daily sales reports and reconciliation
  
  Assist with end-of-month inventory and financial reporting

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory position
• Previous experience in bartending with knowledge of bartending techniques, recipes, sanitation, and safety issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• No college degree required

• Frequent walking; constant standing, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Able to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds
• May be exposed to moderate noise levels and variable temperatures depending on the season
