Procurement Assistant

Location: Elmont, NY
Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 25 hours/week
Hours: Flexible Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday

• 8:00 AM–1:00 PM or 9:00 AM–2:00 PM

• Occasional 12:00 PM–5:00 PM shifts as needed

We are seeking a Temporary Procurement Associate to support procurement and loading dock operations at our Elmont, NY location. This is an active, hands‑on position ideal for someone with experience in logistics, transportation, procurement, or loading dock operations rather than traditional warehouse work.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, dependable go‑getter with a positive attitude who is comfortable working in a fast‑paced, physically active environment.

• Assist with day‑to‑day procurement and loading dock activities

• Receive, move, organize, and stage materials and supplies

• Safely operate a forklift, hand truck, and hand pallet jack
  ; certification is not required

• Assist with loading and unloading materials

• Coordinate the movement of items between the loading dock and designated locations

• Potentially assist with mail delivery and distribution as needed

• Follow established safety procedures and maintain an organized work area

• Perform other logistics and procurement‑related duties as assigned

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, procurement, or loading dock operations preferred

• Logistics experience is strongly preferred over traditional warehouse experience

• Must be comfortable operating a forklift, hand truck, and hand pallet jack

• Forklift certification is not required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance

• Must be physically active and comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift

• Dependable, motivated, and willing to take initiative

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

• Must be located in or around Elmont, NY and able to reliably report on-site

• Steel‑toed boots required

• Must be able to obtain/maintain the required gaming license

This is a part-time position averaging approximately 25 hours per week
