Job Description

Our client is seeking a Front Desk Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for patients and partner offices. This role is ideal for someone with medical front office experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑interaction environment. The Front Desk Assistant will manage patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and coordination with internal case managers and external medical offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer and route a high volume of incoming calls professionally and efficiently
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments across multiple medical locations
  • Prepare daily administrative and patient‑related documentation
  • Support case managers with paperwork and appointment coordination
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records
  • Request and track medical records and work status updates from physician offices
  • Process written medical record requests, including subpoenas
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily operations
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk role preferred
  • Strong customer service background with confidence handling phone‑based inquiries
  • Experience or exposure to Personal Injury or Workers’ Compensation environments is a plus
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
