Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a Front Desk Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for patients and partner offices. This role is ideal for someone with medical front office experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑interaction environment. The Front Desk Assistant will manage patient intake, scheduling, documentation, and coordination with internal case managers and external medical offices.
Key Responsibilities- Answer and route a high volume of incoming calls professionally and efficiently
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments across multiple medical locations
- Prepare daily administrative and patient‑related documentation
- Support case managers with paperwork and appointment coordination
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records
- Request and track medical records and work status updates from physician offices
- Process written medical record requests, including subpoenas
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily operations
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk role preferred
- Strong customer service background with confidence handling phone‑based inquiries
- Experience or exposure to Personal Injury or Workers’ Compensation environments is a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
