• 2/12s, 19:00 – 07:00

• Weekend and holiday on‑call requirement

Compensation

$38.13 – $47.67 per hour, based on experience and departmental equity.

Responsibilities

• Assesses comprehensive data including physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs and interprets assessment information to derive diagnosis.
• Involves patient, family, and health care team members in formulating a culturally appropriate individualized plan of care and identifies expected outcomes based on nursing assessment and diagnosis.
• Implements the plan of care in partnership with the patient, family and health care team members.
• Utilizes teaching strategies appropriate to the individual patient's condition and learning needs.
• Evaluates the patient/family's understanding of and response to the plan of care.

• BSN degree required or in progress
• Registered Nurse in state of Illinois
• BLS & PALS certification
• Two years acute care hospital experience

Preferred

• Previous ICU, PACU or NICU experience
• Pediatric experience in an orthopedic and/or plastics environment
• Bilingual English/Spanish
