• Passion for working with children – this is non‑negotiable.
• Loud extrovert who loves the spotlight and can project voice at a high volume.
• Available for the required coach certification process on Tuesday, January 27 and Wednesday, January 28 from 8:30 am–7:30 pm both days.
• Meet availability: two weekday evenings per week (3:30 pm–7:45 pm) and one weekend day per week (8:00 am–6:30 pm).

• Prior experience speaking to parents and engaging families.
• Can communicate proactively and professionally via technology tools.
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Self‑starter who gets the job done.
• Team player who welcomes feedback.
• Proficient with various technology platforms.
• CPR, AED, and first aid certified or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire.

• Prior coaching experience with kids up to 11 years old.
• Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• Experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus.

• Thursday, January 15, 2026 — 3:00 pm–3:45 pm
  • Classes begin at 4:15 pm; recommended to stay to observe class.

• Bring a copy of your resume.
• Arrive by 2:50 pm at 1704 N. Harlem Ave., Elmwood Park, IL 60707 (one block north of North Ave. & Harlem Ave.).
• Complimentary parking available in front of the center.

• Opportunity to work additional hours through birthday parties, camps, and events.
• Year‑round position; summer‑only or seasonal availability will not be considered.
• Coach and class schedule subject to change.

Compensation: $18.00–$20.00 per hour.

Kid Strong is a private child development training center focused on brain, physical & character development for ages walking through 11 years old. Kid Strong offers a science‑based curriculum that is parent‑focused and taught by professionals.
