This is a Part-time, on-site Math Tutor role based in Fair Lawn, NJ. The Math Tutor will deliver clear, structured math instruction to middle and high school students in small-group settings. Responsibilities include planning lessons, explaining concepts in multiple ways, guiding students through practice problems, and supporting SAT math preparation. The tutor will monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and document performance to show measurable improvement over time.

• High school graduate
• Strong skills in core Mathematics
  , including Algebra
  , with the ability to break down complex concepts into accessible steps.
• Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring
  , with comfort using digital tools and platforms when needed.
• Clear and empathetic Communication skills, including the ability to engage students with varying confidence levels and learning styles.
• Previous experience working with middle or high school students in academic support or classroom settings is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Mathematics, Education, Engineering or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Patience, reliability, and a commitment to long-term skill-building rather than short-term test preparation alone.
