The Broadcast Engineer assists with broadcast engineering operations and efforts. This position acts as the engineer-in-charge to support technical operations for video production and broadcasts, conducts routine maintenance for facilities, and supervises a team of Student Broadcast Engineers (student staff). This position works in close partnership with campus departments, including the School of Communications, Athletics, Event Technology Services, and Cultural and Special Programs.

They provide training to student production crews and faculty on campus. They also assist in the integration and troubleshooting of our broadcast graphics packages.

Bachelor's degree required. Requires three years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and professional experience.

Preferred educational background in broadcast engineering, video production, broadcast/communications technology, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field
