Senior Cost Accountant - Global Manufacturing

Our client, a top global manufacturing company, is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its growing team.

• Conducting regular and comprehensive cost analyses to help management understand the financial implications of production decisions.
• Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger by verifying and reconciling all entries.
• Preparing, analyzing, and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
• Performing account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Developing and maintaining financial forecast models to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Collaborating with various departments to develop cost reduction strategies.
• Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
• Participating in financial audits and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
• Providing cost accounting expertise to team members and stakeholders as needed.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience.
• 1+ years of experience in cost accounting or a related field, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in cost accounting, general ledger, budgeting, account reconciliation, and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.
