Qualifications- Proficient in records management, preparing and maintenance of meeting minutes
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal skills, and the ability to function in a confidential environment
- Proficient written communication skills with the ability to write coherently and free of errors
- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
- Detail oriented
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Proficient in technology by running virtual meetings, preparing electronic documents, and transcribing
- Manage office of the Superintendent and serve as liaison with the Board of Education
- Receive, screen, and route telephone calls, correspondence, emails, and visitors to the Superintendent's Office
- Serve as a professional and courteous liaison between the Superintendents Office and internal and external stakeholders
- Draft, proofread, edit, and format correspondence, memoranda, reports, and other communications
- Track deadlines, assignments, requests, and follow‑up items to ensure timely completion
- Attend all Board of Education meetings and other meetings, as required
- Communicate with the Board on a regular basis, organizing meeting locations, and preparing agendas
- Manage all technology for the Board meeting including virtual meetings, meeting recordings, and posting official online documents
- Prepare draft Board of Education meeting agendas for Superintendent to review. Assist with finalizing for posting
- Manage all Board of Education policies, including revisions, Board review and approvals
- Organize, prepare, and upload all Board packet documents for each Board of Education meeting
- Complete all note taking and minutes for Board of Education meetings and other meetings, as requested
- Organize and oversee Welcome Back and End-of‑Year Ceremonies, along with other event support
- Approve purchases in FSF as part of the multi‑factor approval process
- Support Superintendent by scheduling, filing, and other office supports, as needed
Twelve (12) month position.
Salary and BenefitsPension and benefit eligible position. Salary commensurate with experience according to state and local salary schedules. $52,000 - $85,000
