Job Summary
Energy Advisor – Join our team to support residential home performance programs in Delaware. Ensure high‑quality audits, monitor contractor performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

- Conduct QA/QC reviews of residential energy audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Complete field inspections to verify proper installation of energy‑saving measures
- Support contractors with technical guidance and resolve installation or documentation issues
- Assist customers by explaining audit results, recommended measures, and available incentives
- Review audit data and reports to confirm quality and identify improvements
- Help onboard and monitor contractors to maintain high program standards
- Collaborate with inspectors, contractors, and internal teams to address issues and confirm corrective actions
- Provide clear education to customers and contractors on program requirements and best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience in residential energy auditing, contractor management, and quality assurance
- Building Performance Institute (BPI) BA‑T and BA‑P certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Valid driver’s license and successful Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, or related field
- BPI QCI certification
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software for energy modeling
- Familiarity with building science principles and energy efficiency technologies
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of utility energy efficiency programs and weatherization standards
Base salary range: $80,000 – $99,000 (actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, and other factors). Full‑time pay range (Delaware—Remote Office): $73,738 – $125,354.
