Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Becks Woods in Bear, DE.

Work Schedule:

This is a casual/per diem position; hours will be as needed from Monday–Friday 7:00AM–7:00PM and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
  • Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses.
  • Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
  • Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
  • Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
  • Provide superior customer service to all patients.
  • Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
  • Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
  • Three months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year or more of phlebotomy experience.
Additional Job Standards
  • Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test.

  • Regularly scheduled employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan.
  • Employees working < 20 hours per week, casual, intern, or temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan.
  • Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
