Hands-on manufacturing engineering position focused on improving equipment reliability, process efficiency, safety, and production performance through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvement initiatives
  • Identify and implement equipment, process, and technology improvements
  • Develop and support capital projects for equipment upgrades
  • Improve equipment reliability through maintenance and refurbishment strategies
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Support installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment
  • Design fixtures, tooling, and process improvements
  • Apply Lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving methodologies (5S, 5 Whys, A3)
  • Analyze manufacturing data to drive performance improvements
  • Train and mentor production and maintenance personnel
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement operational improvements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical preferred)
Core Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in metal fabrication and process improvement
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment (CNC, welding, machining, fabrication systems, etc.)
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • CAD proficiency (2D/3D) and understanding of GD&T
  • Experience with automation, controls, and modern manufacturing technologies
  • Familiarity with CMMS and reliability improvement programs
  • Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
