About the Role
As a Territory Manager, you’ll team up with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to bring our innovative insulin pump therapy to patients and healthcare providers in the Delmarva Territory. You’ll leverage your industry sales experience to grow the territory, build relationships, and help people living with diabetes thrive.
Location and TravelThis field‑based role is located in the Delmarva area. While posted as remote/hybrid, the ideal candidate is based in Maryland or Delaware and is expected to travel up to 80% of the time. A valid driver’s license, insurance and a clean driving record are required.
Responsibilities- Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans
- Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with health‑care professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs, etc.) to create value
- Leverage advanced sales methodologies — the Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management — along with strong communication and collaboration skills to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth
- Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators
- Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach
- Maintain accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting for your territory
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences
- Comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, including privacy/HIPAA and safety standards
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) plus 3+ years of industry sales experience, preferably in diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving market
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and good driving record (required for up to 80% travel)
Base pay ranges from $91,890 to $112,310 annually, with a target earning potential of $166,890 to $187,310 annually, depending on experience and market conditions.
