Job Overview
Position:
Maintenance Technician (2-2-3 Night Shift)

Responsibilities- Ensure equipment uptime through timely troubleshooting and repair.
- Troubleshoot and repair all production equipment including injection molders, blow molders, fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers.
- Troubleshoot and repair facilities and auxiliary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, reverse osmosis, water filtration equipment and general plant maintenance.
- Work directly with machine operators, supervisors, preventive maintenance mechanics and senior maintenance technicians to resolve mechanical issues.
- Propose solutions to complex and recurring problems on production equipment to senior mechanics and management.
- Repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics, technical drawings and testing equipment.
- Modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate equipment in accordance with company processes.
- Maintain industrial control systems.
- Work independently and with team members to complete repairs in a safe and timely manner.
- May fill in for production operator as needed.
- Create and report repairs throughout shift; complete required work order paperwork and document parts and material usage.
- Follow plant safety rules and use PPE where required.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- 4 years experience in a field or similar maintenance environment.
- 4 years experience in current position.
- 4 years experience managing people/projects.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments.
- Basic experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Skilled with shop equipment such as hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill, lathe, and assorted power tools.
- Proficient with precision measuring equipment.
- Willingness to serve as a technical leader and trainer.
- Will need own toolbox and basic tools.
- Preferred: 6 years experience in field or similar manufacturing, 6 years in current position, 6 years managing people/projects.
- Experience in high‑speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries.
- Experience with VFD, servo drives, rotary press, thermodynamics, heat transfer, plastics processing, Krones, Sidel, Husky equipment, HVAC.
- Experience in fabrication (cutting, welding); ability to read/interpret process and instrumentation diagrams.
- Skill in repairing drives, PLCs, safety modules.
- High School Diploma (minimum).
- Preferred:
Associate’s Degree in manufacturing, technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing or related.
- None required.
