Plant Controller

We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization to find their next Plant Controller. This is a hands-on financial leadership role - you'll be the go-to business partner for the Plant Manager and department heads, turning plant financials into decisions that drive profitability.

• Lead the plant's financial function and mentor an Accounting and Finance team (Plant Accountant, Accounting Coordinator, Auditor)
• Own the annual budgeting process, including departmental interviews and the Annual Operating Plan
• Run monthly plant operation reviews - variance analysis on labor, material, and overhead
• Partner with department managers on corrective actions for spending variances
• Coordinate capital evaluations with the Corporate Financial Analyst
• Manage costing for new product initiation and maintain cost standards
• Oversee inventory accuracy, transaction review, and variance analysis
  
  Build fluency in Activity Based Costing and shape plant-level reporting from that model

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-8 years in Manufacturing Cost Accounting, including 3+ years in a supervisory role
• Strong MS Office skills; experience with MRP, ERP, and bar coding systems
• A self-starter mindset with sharp communication skills and the confidence to lead
