Job Title
Corrugate Box Erector and Sealer
Job DescriptionPrincipal Accountabilities
Corrugate Box Erector:
Monitor box making to ensure quality boxes;
Load end panels & body wraps;
Ensure correct material is used;
Measure material and continually inspect to ensure within specification;
Fill glue pots;
Assist in changeover;
Monitor and set machine to run right set points;
Daily CIL – clean, inspect, lubricate
Corrugate Box Sealer:
Monitor box closure quality;
Fill glue pots;
Monitor and set machine to run right set points;
Daily CIL – clean, inspect, lubricate;
Box Sealer;
Case Printer:
Monitor quality of case print
Winpack Film Handling:
Transport film from staging to breakdown area;
Breakdown film rolls onto carts;
Remove empty cores from arbors
General Activities in the Flex Room:
Maintain room 5-S standards;
Remove/handle pallet dunnage;
Bail corrugate at end of shift or as needed;
During periods of downtime, clean and/or sweep floor. Empty area trash cans at end of shift;
Keep area neat and orderly;
Relieve hand stackers;
Troubleshoot zebra printer for barcode printing and LX screens for pallet creation;
Be knowledgeable of all job functions related to the flex room;
Wear all necessary PPE;
Substitute or cover breaks for other employees, as needed;
Keep the area and equipment clean and neat at all times;
Perform other duties, as required by supervision;
Perform changeover activities, as required
High school diploma or GED or relevant experience in lieu of degree
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesGood communication skills – written and verbal;
Detail oriented and accurate;
Ability to multi-task;
Personable, even-tempered, easy to get along with;
Follows directions well;
Be flexible in shift assignments

Ability to climb up and down stairs repetitively;
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds;
Ability to be on feet 8-12 hours a day, 5-7 days a week;
Have a working knowledge of the operation of one or more pieces of equipment within Packaging;
Ability to use basic math and writing skills necessary to complete required paperwork;
Ability to read and understand case code and can codes;
Ability to read and understand shop order instructions

Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and prerequisite program requirements;
Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management
High School or better.
