Manufacturing Mechanic - 2nd Shift

IN-Elwood Plant, 490 S 22nd St, Elwood, IN 46036, USA

• Installation and removal of equipment of all types: pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, cables, chains, pipes, valves, tanks, etc.
• Repair, upkeep, setup and operation of facility equipment
• Facility utility upkeep. Adhere to Red Gold policies, rules and regulations, including GMPs and safety

• Responsible for monitoring, record keeping and taking appropriate actions for specific Food Safety Plan and Food Quality Plan and pre‑requisite program requirements.
• Responsible to report food safety and quality issues to management.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years industrial maintenance experience desirable
• Pass Bennett Mechanical test
• Basic math skills, understanding of geometry, blueprint/diagram reading

Pay: $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience) + $1.00 per hour shift premium
